CUMA machine of miniature CNC profile cutting machines is targeted at small and medium scale industries. Portable CNC machines have almost all the features of a big CNC machine. AutoCAD drawings are converted into codes using the nesting software and transferred to the machine through pen drive.
The machine cuts all shapes and parts as designed. An accuracy of 0.5mm may be expected from this machine of basic size of 1500mmx3000mm. It is possible to mount two torches of Plasma or oxy-fuel within the cutting width of 1500mm. The length of the machine can be up to 6000mm. Cutting capacity will depend upon the capacity of Plasma cutting machine. Most commonly used range is 1-30mm.
However there is no limit up to 100mm.

Standard Scope of Supply:

• Miniature CNC Plate & Pipe Profile Cutting machine along with CNC controller, hardwares, motors, drives, software & drag chains for cables.
• CNC Controller:
CUMA Machine CNC Controllers are standalone controllers with embeded intelligence. These controllers also have built-in PLC's where customized programs can be downloaded. Navigation is through touchscreen based menu driven user interface making it extremely easy to opearte. Use 32-bit high-performance CPU and super-large scale programmable element FPGA, apply real-time multi-task control technology and
hardware interpolation technology, and have high stability when working.
• Torch height control unit:
This mechanism ensures that the torch maintains a constant distance from the plate. During cutting, if there is undulation in the plate,
there is a chance that the torch touches the plate surface and this may result in torch damage and damage of the profile being cut.
• Rack & pinion:
Positioning speed and accuracy of cutting depends on the selection of components. CUMA Machine uses most meticulously picked components to achieve positioning accuracy : +/-0.5mm and repeatability : +/- 0.5 mm constantly and consistently over years.

A good nesting software helps the user in achievingprecise tolerance of cut parts, high productivity by nesting, less wastage and zero down time. Features include auto validation, Simulation, Dimension/Enquiry Function, Lead-In Styles, Cutting Parameters, Corner Loops, Offcuts & Scrap Cuts, Grain Alignment etc. Nesting and cutting modules have direct and maximum influence on profile cutting applications.
• Bluetooth Enabled:
CUMA Machine profile cutting controllers are bluetooth ready. With such devices, it is possible to connect several CNC's in the plant to a central computer. It is even possible to exchange data between 2 or more CNC's.

The CUMA Machine can be interfaced with a wide variety of Plasma Sources including our own KALI (both converterized and inverterized), kjellberg or Hypertherm. Up/Down control for the torch is provided on the main panel.
• Oxy Fuel Torch:
The CUMA Machine can be interfaced with an oxy-fuel torch. Up/Down control for the torch is provided on the main panel.
• Gas Manifold:
It is specially designed for the single gas source, and it can be widely used as a standby system for the main gas source or other gas source like tank gas.
