Transductor controlled welding rectifier
These are most reliable basic rectifiers manufactured using suitably rated diodes. Output current control ( must for welding process) is achieved using the principal of magnetic saturation. Minimum use of electronics makes the machine very simple, easy to maintain and most reliable. Major disadvantages are fluctuation of output current with change in input supply voltage or and change
in output load. Also poor power factor. Two models TDC-400 & TDC-600 are manufactured by 'TECHNOCRATS'.
