A Plasma Gasifier uses the power of plasma arc technology to convert solid waste into clean, usable energy. Unlike traditional incineration or gasification systems, which rely on combustion and produce harmful emissions, plasma gasifiers operate at temperatures exceeding 5000°C — completely breaking down waste molecules into syngas (CO + H₂) and vitrified slag that is non-toxic and reusable.

How Plasma Gasification Works

Waste Feeding
Segregated or mixed waste is fed into a sealed reactor vessel.
Plasma Generation
A non-transferred plasma torch ionizes air, nitrogen, or argon, creating a plasma arc at 4000–6000°C.
Thermal Decomposition
The extreme heat dissociates organic molecules into basic elements — primarily CO and H₂, forming syngas.
Energy Recovery
The syngas can be cleaned and used to generate electricity, hydrogen or synthetic fuels.
Inert Slag Formation
All inorganic material melts and solidifies as glassy slag, which is environmentally safe and can be used in construction materials.
